New day

Well right now I'm doing a pay per click compagn with Google. And I have to say that I like it a lot better then Overture. It is more straight forward, as well I find it offers more control over your listing. Which is always important. I'm targeting my www.sitebuilder.d4a.com for now. But eventually I want to include both http://www.resumenow.d4a.com/ and www.inyourfaceart.uni.cc. So far I got something like 70 unique hits in two days. Which isn't that terrible. No sales yet. I figure I'll try it for a month and see the results I get. Test, Test , Test that is what my mom always told me.

Also that whole blog and ping technique seems to be working, at least my blog is listed with yahoo blog directory (unofficially yet) And of coarse once they go public with that it will be hard to get into. So if you are thinking of giving blogging a try - now is a good time to do it.

This is not bad at all

I was surfing the net researching blogging when I came across this article:

by Tinu Abayomi-Paul,Copyright 2004

Last week, I cheated on my long-time lover Google, with my old boyfriend Yahoo. And ever since that day, I have considered becoming a bigamist.(To full understand what that crazy drivel was about read my last article about how to get your RSS feed listed at Yahoo within hours - in 5 simple steps here: http://www.freetrafficdirectory.com/rssyahoo).Today, I decided to go ahead and break the law - Yahoo is my new other husband.What am I talking about, and what does this mean for your site?When I first discovered that you could get into Yahoo’s RSS Feed directory so quickly, I started making a lot of observations about their site. The first thing I noticed is that they made some subtle changes to their search page. That same day, I noticed that certain sites have more information in their listings than others.Try this search at Yahoo for example "Get Your RSS Feed Listed Within Hours", quotes and all.Scroll through the results. Notice for search results number 7 - www.marketingproductreview.com and number 8 www.searchenginejournal.com - the link for a searcher to add your feed from search results is right on the page.If you're an RSS user, you get the power of this already.Just in case you're not, lemme spell it out for ya.... Thanks to Yahoo, people won't even have to go to your site to add you to their Yahoo page, if you have the right Meta Tag in your site's header.And if they don’t use the My Yahoo page to track their feeds? They’ve been kind enough to include a link to your XML link as well.How do I know this works?Do another search for need free traffic - without the quotes this time. Scroll down to search result number four - see the one with the feed links? That’s my site.Not only did this work, apparently it only takes a few days from submitting your feed. I added this simple code to my site header on the 6th of July. I noticed another traffic increase to my site on the 8th, and I couldn’t figure it out, which led me to check the listings in Yahoo that had sent me the traffic.How did I do this? I added a simple Meta Tag called RSS Auto Discovery to my site. It’s very simple to use. Here’s what it looks like: Just replace my RSS feed link with your own, and add the tag to the header of your site.

<!-- RSS Autodiscovery --> <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml"
title="RSS" href="http://www.freetrafficdirectory.com/members/backend.php" />

I loved this article so much that I decided to use it here for every one to see.

Intro

Let me introduce my self - I'm Alex.

I currently learning about marketing. Not in school, as it is traditional, but real life - the cost for that is pain of coarse. As it usually mistakes that are the learning process.

I have a back ground in design, and one of the things I'm promoting now is a turn key web site solution. It is perfect for any small business. It allows full customization of the site, without the knowledge of html or any programming, and the best part is that the person has complete control, there is no need to go back to the designer to do updates - everything can be done on the fly with a web interface. It is pretty cool - a complete turn key solution! You are paying actually one third of the regular price. www.sitebuilder.d4a.com

There is also this other awesome product it is called resume card.

The most Powerful Online Resume Delivery System ever created. This Creative Flash Driven/Animated Resume Card will sit at the bottom of your initial cover letter on your email to the employer. The card is designed using our Resume Card Builder Technology. Your Personal Resume Card is then sent via email to a prospective employer. When the card is clicked on...

It delivers the most powerful online resume presentation ever. No more Black & White boring resumes. It's the best resume delivery system ever developed...Now for the best part... No more wondering if the employer received it. When the human resources department clicks on the card to view your resume, it engages our Backdoor Resume Tracking System, allowing you to know the exact time and date they viewed both your card and resume. The tracking feature goes completely undetected by the employer.

The Resume Builder Technology system tracks, records and reports all of the important information. http://www.resumenow.d4a.com/

I also have an online art gallery: www.inyourfaceart.uni.cc
I sell my art work there, as I'm a classically trained illustrator.

These are my projects, and right now I'm trying to learn how to promote the the best way I can. Anything I would be able to learn from doing this blog would be an asset to me.
Till next time,
Alex
